Password Hell!
Posted in: Slice of Life on April 3, 2006 at 8:45 pm by Glenn.Today I couldn’t remember any of my passwords no matter how hard I tried. We are supposed to change them every month (at work) - and we are prompted to - and yesterday I changed the network/email password.
Then today I couldn’t even log on to windows because I either forgot my password or typed it in wrong several times. So I got that reset by our IS dept.
Then I needed to get into the database that I use EVERY DAY and I couldn’t get the password right. I had to call the call center in Dallas to have that reset.
Then I got locked out of a financial software accessed through the internet and had to request a new password to be emailed to me.
Yes, I should write them down, and I use to and kept it in my old Palm Pilot… since getting my Treo I haven’t moved the information over… Ugh.. This has never happened to me to this extent before - EVER! If it does its just one password that I may hit or miss on but get it before being locked out… Today it was… FOUR!

I forgot my WEP password to get into my home network. My cousin had her laptop here and wanted to get online… all my other computers were connected already but I couldn’t remember what it was for her computer to connect.
