Imminent Storm Threatens the Drive to Work
Yes… “imminent”.
The rain didn’t know whether to come or to go as these phone pics will suggest.
It looked bad out there at 6:30 in the morning. I want the rain to fall and get it over with. I’m not comfortable with the rain this weekend because of my Triathlon on Sunday. Biking in the rain isn’t the most safest thing in the world.
Normally I can avoid traffic at this time in the morning. But with the pending ’storm’, its always a crap-shoot.
And see… little drops on the way and cars stop. They say people in LA don’t know how to drive in the rain… Who are ‘they’ anyway… ‘They’ are right though.
And then it stops. And so do the cars. What could take an easy fifteen minute 17 mile drive to work may take an hour in the rain.
On and off… on and off… on and off…
And then it hit! Like ‘cats and dogs’. Slamming down on my car… The ’storm’ hit!!!
And the cars stopped like usual.
