One of the best action movies ever!!! - in my opinion of course. Is it horror? Sci-Fi horror? Action/Horror? Maybe. Probably. Regardless, it is an awesome Action/Sci-Fi/Horror film however you want to class it. Of course Sigourney Weaver was awesome in it. The ‘Aliens’ films to follow, horrible! Absolute rubbish. Trash. Crap! But Aliens; fun, exciting, suspenseful, heart warming (I think) and a roller coaster ride full of thrills. Watch the extended version DVD with scenes that actually show Newt and the Alien earlier than the original release. This movie is great.

Favorite scene: When Bishop shows up with the drop ship just when the mother alien comes out of the elevator! A favorite scene could be the “Get away from her, you bitch!” scene, which was classic, but even twenty years after my initial viewing I can still remember how I felt when Bishop showed up behind the platform to rescue Ripley and Newt from the Mother Alien. Awesome!
