Google Earth is Cool!

Google Earth is cool.

After uploading my Garmin data into Motionbased, I can save it into a Google Earth format and see the course. So I copy and paste the view into Photoshop to resize and add some labels really quick.

Here’s the Imperial Beach Triathlon course. The Swim part I manually drew since I didn’t wear my Garmin during the swim portion.

I could spend hours just cruising the world on Google Earth. I zoomed into New York, I found the Tennis Courts in TierraSanta, CA where my cousin lives (he didn’t know where they were). I checked out the big Island of Hawaii (where I’ll be in April) and I checked out DisneyWorld! I think I found some WMBs in Iraq! Just kidding.

If you want to have mindless fun, download Google Earth and cruise around the whole wide world!

Monster In-Law

Monster In-Law (2005)
My Rating: 1/10

I couldn’t finish this. Totally absurd, horribly acted, not enough comedy… it was not as bad as Must Love Dogs or whatever that flop was, but it wasn’t good either. The only good scene was in the beginning when J-Lo was around the table with her two friends. Other than that scene, every other scene was predictable, setup, and unbelievable… STUPID!

Hidden Fortress

Hidden Fortress (1958)
My Rating: 6/10

I only watched this because it was part of the inspiration of George Lucas’ vision of Star Wars. At least some of the characters were. The music was also reminiscent of Star Wars. But… it took about five tries to get through this long movie. I guess that was also inspirational because this movie dragged on and on. And on and on. Watch it if you are absolutely interested in what inspired Lucas. That’s why I did. And yeah, I could watch it and say, I’ll do a futuristic representation of this movie except I’ll make it LONGER. You don’t really need to watch it.
